Memory systems as a ways to practice Remembrance

Memory systems make memory a choice. Remembrance is a spiritual practice that makes remembering what God has spoken to me a choice.

Memory systems can be deployed to as a tool to practice and improve Remembrance in the same way that a reader’s Bible can help practice reading scripture or distraction-free environments can help with solitude.

I’m experimenting with this hypothesis on myself by crafting Ebenezer - a personal memory system application that’s curated for content patterns I find in the way God speaks to me.
